Wat Soong is a Buddhist temple along Thanon Lat Krabang in
Lat Krabang.
When she was still living in Thailand, Pia always lived near this temple, as did almost all
of her family.
So she has been there many times.
And even now we regularly go there when we are in Thailand.
Wat Soong, officially Wat Sangkha Racha, means second temple.
The temple is located along Khlong Prawet Burirom, and Wat Nung (first temple) and Wat Saam
(third temple) are also nearby.
It is actually a temple like you can find everywhere in Thailand, but because Pia has been
there since childhood, and Tom since our first visit to Thailand, we go there every time.
In recent years, Pia's brother has moved to the temple as a novice, all the more reason to
go there regularly.
We were here
on Friday, February 28, 2020.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
